On YouTube, you can watch Streamer in any language and read generated subtitles. Subtitles are not perfect but good enough to understand what streamer is talking about.
Worst thing about youtube language processing AI is inability to add dots and commas ( beside extremly flawed translation in most of languages beside english).
So basically it connects all speech into one huge sentence u dont know where it stops or starts..
I bet there is some browser plugin which does the job much better..

Exactly the same as this site then with certain members.

Big true.
Some of the translations the auto translate comes up with are questionable at times and hilarious at others but it's better than nothing and I can only assume with improve greatly over time through development and AI learning.

It actually struggles translating Domi a fair bit tbh and he doesnt even have much of an accent
English voice recognition is pretty good. Other languages should be similar when fed enough speech samples. From what I have seen at this point translations compare worse than voice recognition. But adding both on top of each other yields more errors than one of them alone. Still, it is very good for what it is now and should only get better in the future.

Yea its not bad for what it is considering its live translation, that is pretty sophisticated when you think about it.
I'd hazard a guess that it's recognition of English is good because it's so widely spoken, it will just take a little bit longer for lesser spoken languages. Like xezon said, the small errors it makes when recognising words added to the small errors it makes when translating equate to larger errors. Especially when you take into a lot of languages have greatly differing grammatical structures, even in it's current state, it's quite impressive technology already.

Put it on for Domi, it comes out with odd things at times. Most of its right, but the odd word here and though is a mess, it seems to struggle with Domi saying excal lol, I forgot what it says now but its certainly not excal. Probably because its a name not a word I guess Watching Blair in Russian with it on is pretty funny.
Is this feature even supposed to work for streams?
yes it works for streams btw, but yea weirdly the option isnt always there for unknown reasons. I only know because I accidentally turn it on all the time
