balance question: Now that Noldors are nerfed against siege, what is their use? is there really a reason to buy them instead of Mirkwoods? and how should elves counter early siege now?
Bug report: when I play vs brutal 4 v 4 after 5-6 Mins the game crashes

Noldors still deal bonus damage vs Siege. The bonus was reduced from v7 as it was incredibly powerful. Noldors will always be a better option as they're tankier and deal bonus damage against siege (as you know) and monsters.
What map did your game crash on? I'm positive it's not an issue native to v8.

I played in a new Map and maybe one that is not new, bur probably never played on 7.00..., first volcanos of fordwaith, and 2nd southdowns. I was playing goblins if that could be a thing
A very well made and thought out patch, this has probably been discussed to death, but can I question the thinking behind the stance tweaks made - specifically removing the speed bonus from agressive stance?
From what i've seen, the Haldir leadership change was needed to hopefully make elven players more agressive, to avoid camping with statues and wells, making that slow creeping push was is just disgusting lol.
Overall brings more balance, more uniform building stats, and fixes a lot of that crappy ea fx they put in (or didn't put in lol). I haven't played for years but even I can tell this is a fantastic patch. . Have fun guys!
