I played with both players. If you ask me, I think Dimon is much better. Though I have not played with the peak period of Technique. So it is unknown to compare the peak period of Technique vs peak period of Dimon. One thing for sure is that Dimon is clearly the best RA3 player as of now.
u cant compare players who never played at the same time dumb guy. dimon is obviously better but how good would he be without old pros like technique who advanced the ra3 meta

The thing is, Technique is currently a top 3 player on Kanes's Wrath and is a favourite to win any tournament he enters. He plays the modern meta and still defines aspects of it.
if he was to truly return to RA3, I think he would have little issue vs this.... Dimon

Dimon, played soviets now transitioned into empire, but Technique when he won ladder season 3 he played all 3 factions specifically to beat opponents of particular style, vs Moutou's Empire he went Soviets, Vs iAmDynamiC he went empire, he went allies during different stages of that competition, back then people like Firgli, iAmDynamic , Bapor, Malle, So many other super pros were around, Not only he won the Ra3 Champion ship that year he also won the Kw championship, he won a grand prize of 6000 usd, and just recently won a hefty prize for greygoo too that too vs current RTS champion BikeRushOwns,
Ill add one thing if Technique were to monetize his success as an RTS player and go route on TWITCH/ Youtube and live stream i bet he get 100 usd minimum per tips in donations every day! just people willing to get there name across on his stream, Two times more than BikeRushOwns gets even at the moment BikeRushOwns better than him in KanesWrath but you cannot compare Dimon To technique who is in my opinion the Best Red Alert 3 Player ever in terms of Prizes collected monetarily and thats what always has mattered.
Alright, I'm not usually one to express serious opinions about player skill these days, but there's so many just flat wrong posts in this thread from people that have clue about RA3 that I feel the need to weigh in.

This is completely incorrect.
I'll start off by saying that I hate Dimon's attitude as much as the next guy. I voted for Technique in this poll just to make him mad. All trolling aside though, the answer here is a no-brainer. Technique is nowhere close to the level of Dimon in terms of overall skill on RA3. As a matter of fact, Technique was well behind the skill level of most top players during the times he tried to return to the game in 2012, 2014, and etc. That's just facts.
Saying "oh he's top 3 in KW and could easily be top 3 in RA3" is also completely false. Every "top 3" KW player that ever tried to get into the RA3 scene always found very little success post-2011. Bikerush tried RA3 numerous times and could never come close to consistently beating top players and would rage quit back to KW every time. Aoenian did the exact same thing and wasn't even higher than mid-level tbh. Technique definitely provided the most competition of the three, but was still never a major threat to win anything after 2011 tbh. I myself remember getting many wins vs him in 2014 and remember him having big problems vs most top players at the time.

This is also just completely wrong for the same reasons I mentioned previously. It's also a bad example to use since Dimon has taken other factions in matchups he knows he can't win with Soviets (like empire instead of having an SvS vs DDF).
All of the other stuff you talk about is 9 years old and frankly no longer relevant. Dunno why you even brought it up.
