Hello, just new here, one of the few asians playing COH and I was trying out axis(mostly defensive doctrine), and is still playing with A.I's(montagris region) and massed out those walking stuka(i wonder if that is effective in real playing though).

Anyway, I played allies too but I found them to be too serious in battle and things like that, unlike the axis. They occasionally complain and say things that are just quite funny.

Pioneers: "I always do my part!"(complaining about his partner)

Volksgrenaiders: "....... (uncohherant words), that thing on your hand is called the trigger finger, use it!!!!"

Walking stuka(axis halftrack): Faster halftrack, you drive like my mother!!!"


I quite heard some too but I have a hard time to understand it(since this game require's a lot of your attention). Care to share

If you know german, you can use the german language file to hear what they say in german.

Like 'Die Amerikäner kämpfen wie Hunde' (the americans fight like dogs....hardly a praise )

They didn't add new ones, they fixed the bug where only half of the files played. Now they all play more often. But in a sense it's like adding new ones.

I don't remember any of them except this half track smells like volksgrenadiers.

I switched over to the mod where Germans actually speak German and I'am loving it <3 they sound a ton kooler.

I had my pak crew say that they're gun comes from Dresden

I've started playing the game with german speeches too, but since it's not my native language I fail to understand some parts of it All in all I like the english voices more, but prefer the german lines. If only the english actors could speak german

Pak-38 has some great ones:

and if you camo it the guy goes "Sure we'll hide this... giant gun"

Grenadiers have some good ones too-like if you put them in a halftrack they'll go "this damn halftrack smells like volksgrenadiers!"

The only good allies one I've heard is when you put your rifles in a building and it says "no stealing doilies this time Johnson!"

Also, if you click the STs over and over, they have some good lines as well.

The Allied Quad cracks me up, too.

After a bunch of clicking, it will say, "So...you're pretty much drunk."

Sometimes, I'll be concentrating really hard on the game and move over some units and in passing hear the funniest stuff.

"He was dead, so I took his helmet"

"These Americans think like criminals," mumbling from the shadows.

Good stuff. And often it's not only what they say, but how they say it. Their accents crack me up. Axis soldiers are some funny little guys at times.

Yeah, I really like this too. I find myself LOL in the middel of a stressed battle. It's a really healthy relief, I think.

Two 'new' in from yesterdays' battle:

'Ich wusste gar nicht dass in under Armee so viele alte Männer waren'
('I didn't know there were so many old men in our army' - when reinforcing a volksgrenadier)

'Start moving, get your dicks swinging' - rilflemen ordered to move (was rather surpsied by this, but funny anyway)

I personally like the axis sniper who says something like "I could have been in the luftwaffe you know." as you march his somewhere half across the map.

Although normally I find the american voices just a little too eager I must admit that I giggled a little when one of the rifle squads piped up "give me one bullet a rifle and point me to berlin"

Yeah the Axis have some humorous lines. But does anyone know what the guy says when you upgrade to the next tier in the HQ? I think the last on is "Fur Deutschland!" or something, it sounds really cool. Anyone know what exactly they say as you upgrade to the next phase?

My favorite is when they get mad at you for clicking them a lot

Stug (when hit) - "Don't worry, the armor will hold!"

Sherman (low hp and told to move) - "Driiiiiiive! Driiiiive or where dead!"

Tank (losing battle) - "This is impossible! Our tanks are superior!!"

Sherman (under attack from puma) - "Sherman under attack from light armor .. (sarcastic) good luck!"

Idle axis infantry sounds - "Stop pushing!" and "after the war, I wil settle down in duseldorf"

Allied retreating troops - "Skrew this shit, lets get the fuck outta here"

Volks (after being suppressed) - "Get up you fools! stop embarassing yourselves!"

axis Infantry (can't remember who) when attacked by many troops - "We're fighting the whole allied fucking army here!!"

Grenadiers (given movement commands) - "Yah yah, vun vay zen ze oder" and "I swear we've been over this cow ten fucking times!!"

When selecting volks whilst they are fighting - "(yelling) We're a bit preoocupied now!"

Allied mortar - "I hear the nazis are all 8 feet tall"

Pioneers losing battle - "our weapons are ineffective! we a dooooooomed!"

Funniest were from warcraft 2 (ex: twoheadedogre unit, u click, click and they fart, than one head says:he did it!, the other head:no he did it! and than they both start laughing, when you would upgrade them to ogre-mages they would say: we'r not brainless anymore, lol i loved war2)
