Yeah..thanks bro. I want to go to Yale but my parents are pushing Stanford. The problem will be paying for it...=/ I might end up at UPitt because they gave me 116k in scholarships while Y and S didn't give me anything.

So you have a full ride to Pitt basically? That's hard to turn down. You can always do that and get into a good grad school with pretty much zero debt...ya you know all this but good luck in your decision.

IMO go to the best school possible. Yea it's true that all mid-high universities are very good and a lot of people don't like to have debt so they choose whats cheapest for them i.e. me. But if i could go back again I'd apply to a bunch of other schools and go to the best one possible. If you go to Yale or Stanford you'll be making so much money when you come out probably whats a few grand in loans to pay off? Shitty you didn't get into Harvard though, if your parents make less than 100k it would've been free

Y and S basically have the same fin aid as Harvard. I wouldn't have gotten any aid from Harvard either. =/ I got waitlisted at Harvard =[

just go to yale or stanford, it'll be worth it.

The alumni networks at Yale or Stanford usually make up for the debt. Connections are everything in the workplace.

Plus Stanford is amazingly nice!

go to pitt so you can watch levance fields, dejaun blair and sam young IF they don't go pro which they prob will so you can just watch the sick recruiting class coming in.

Well the biggest problem my mom had with Pitt before today was the safety of the city..and now that this cop shootout occurred, she doesn't even want to visit Pitt. So its down to Y and S now.

Pittsburgh's a great city dude, I lived there for about 2 years back when I was 10-11. The people there are awesome, and BaLL is right, your not gonna get shot lol.
