Its funny untill you are hiking in the Bob Marshall wilderness and come across very fresh Grizzly Bear tracks, she had a cub too. 1 hour later our friends came through the area and the bear tracks were on our tracks and were following us. Thankfully we did not meet her. We did meet a Blackbear at about 40 yards, but black bears are a bit calmer then Grizzlys.

Holy shit! Thats sounds terrifying! From what I hear though Grizzlies are on the most part not aggressive and want nothing to do with humans whereas polar bears are naturally inquisitive and seek you out. That doesn't sound fun at all!

I caught a momma blackbear with two cubs trying to ride on her back as they swam from one island to the next in Kenora. They kept falling off her back and trying to climb back on. About only 40ft from our boat.

Have it all on video.
