Anyone have any advice on learning another language? I'm using the pimsleur approach right now, but I'm getting the vibe that while I'll understand a lot of common phrases, I'll have like a 10% grasp on the language as a whole. I'm trying to learn spanish if that's of any help.

Listen to music everyday. This seriously helped with my pronunciation and ability to understand both Japanese and French. It's probably the most useful thing you can do to learn a language.

Was looking for a topic to post randomly in, found this one.

Learning another language is easy, once you know half a dozen others. You can only have a for loop work so many different ways, and so on...

Anyways, this is another post, for those wondering.
