Well written, but it misses

- Gayeon TML rush build order.
- Double air fact build.

I guess ACU rush & 4 fact shotja rush don't count as they're just cheese.

Also a suggestions of which BO to use/not to use on which map might also help. (like going 1 land fact + going 1 air on palms is suicide)

Those are niche strats anyway, there are many other gay cybran builds that he could put up there but it's just a waste of space smile.gif

Hmm... I may be nitpicking, but I think my variations on some of these builds are more efficient. Thats not important though.

Some additions that you could use in a next guide/extension:

- Faction specific builds or changes to builds, like cybran builds with faster/cheaper
- cheese builds (comrush, tml rush, 3 fac acu econ, transport rush, 4fac)

I felt like it was a good guide and a good read. I already use variations on these BO's but this could definitely help someone who hasn't played much multiplayer.

It's got zoom, and it's not that imbalanced. Better than CoH by miles but slightly less than SC2 (balance wise). Gameplay is quite rich in terms of strategies, with solid 1v1 and epic 4v4's and FFA's. So if you get with a group of people willing to play it's great fun, otherwise 1v1 is generally satisfying if you get a match.

Hi.

As a beginner, I figured the easiest strategy to start off with was the rush strategy so I follow the 3 build order. My question is, after I get all 3 factories built, do I just build, build, build my army and hold off on any further mass extracters or power plants until after I make my first rush?

So far, it's taking me at least 7 minutes to get a rush going (10 tanks, 5+ arcanists and 5+ or meteors) and my opponent always seems to be prepared defensively so I'm pretty sure I'm doing domething wrong.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello,

you're definitely doing something wrong.

Doing a 3 fact opening it's normal to get 23 tanks @ the 3:50 minute mark.
Also doing an opening like this you can expand as well.

Just do,

ACU -> 2 mex, 1 pgen, 3 land
ENGIE -> 2 mex, 1 pgen ->assist factory
ENGIE 2 -> 2 mex, 1 pgen ->assist factory

Than you can charge in with ur acu + tanks while building a mass extractor under way.

Also dont build anarchists, build an AA tower near their base instead.

Thanks for the reply. It helps a lot.

As a follow up, if I don't build anarchists, how will I protect my ACU and tanks from air attacks as I expand? I play UEF and since neither the ACU nor the tanks have anti-air capabilities, I always build some anarchists to escort them when they head into battle. I know my ACU can take a lot of hits but the tanks are totally defenseless against air attacks.

Actually, the first thing I build are anarchists because in every game I play, my opponent (AI or human) always sends air ships to scout and harass me. I figure I might as well build the anarchists since they can serve the same function as AA towers but can also be sent into battle later on. I build the factory AA add-ons as well so I figure I'm covered, although my win-loss record would suggest I should rethink that.

if he goes air, he has less tanks than you have. attack right away and build an AA tower, also 1 factory AA in ur main is enough to hold them off. Think about it, if you put on the pressure high enough, they are not able to harass you.
