Commanders and Comrades! Steam are offering, for a limited time, the Tiberium Wars, Kane's Wrath, Red Alert 3 and Tiberian Twilight titles at the knock down price of 2,49 as part of their Summer Sale. The offer ends on 5 July 2018, so you'll need to hurry! The offers are linked below.

The titles (except C&C4: TT) are compatible with C&C:Online, so if you're looking for an affordable way to get online in those games, this is probably it. N.B. You need the Steam version of Tiberium Wars to play the Steam version of Kane's Wrath.

Would a good new Singleplayer Game with Online and LAN Mode not enough selling for EA or why they dont develop something like that? Would it be too expensive?
I heard KW and RA 3 didnt sell so well, so they stopped the series.
EA also had financhial losses 2008/2009 because they were making new games, like Mirrors Edge, Dead Space 1 and SPORE, BUT these 3 titles didnt sell good (read it also on the wikipedia articles of these three games) AND the financhial crisis 2009/8 were also hitting EA. Because all of that EA restructured itself and made lesser but better Games. ----> (Mass Effect, Dragon Age etc....)

I think it wouldnt sell enough, because they can only make it for PC as plattform. Even C&C G2 were from graphics and gameplay nothing special new, so EA decided to cancel it.

THQ had not the greatest revenues from CoH and DoW BECAUSE they arent really casual AND they were only for PC as selling running plattform so sells were comprehensible.

WTF guy----> The points with THQ; Generals 2; and the three titles are all true.

You can read it on every wikipedia site of the stated game and its correct, dumb guy----->: SPORE was not really commercial success; Dead Space I (2008) commercial success was not there, Mirros Edge not a huge deal financially

About G2: A reporter of "Giga Games" tested the game back then on the E3 and he said it looked more like the old Generals and playstlye of it is also the same. And he knows complete C&C Series since his childhood.

And 3. I read the stuff about THQ`s Dow and CoH profit/selling issue on a serious gaming website, where they reported about THQ`s Companys History. Its also make sense that they dont sell so much compared to other titels, which were relased on PC AND Consoles(unlike CoH and DoW Series; only for PC you should known ).CoH and DoW from THQ were selling enough, but not the cashflow like WoW or FIFA or GTA etc....

So think before you start to laugh. <-----------

Except they aren't.

Generals 2 was cancelled amid internal corporate shuffles and EA forcing Victory Games to do multiple compromises, one of which was the shift to free-to-play.

Here's the actual story.

THQ was mismanaged, that's why they went under. And DoW/CoH aren't their IPs, they're Relic's. CoH is still successful, and DoW3 failed because of their own poor design decisions, not because of someone's poor financial analyses.
