Greetings Commanders, we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the C&C3 Tiberium Wars November 1vs1 Tournament - 150$ event on Saturday, November 17th at 12:00 GMT
To sign-up for this event please post here with the online ID you will be using, but remember that entries close 1 hour before the event is due to start!
Guidance for new players
Welcome to Tournament Play Commander Players should to go to the tournaments 1 game lobby, say 10 minutes (but not less than 5 minutes), before the event is due to start to check in with the tournament staff. In the case of this event, you should check in with me. Once you have checked in, you should stay in the tournaments 1 lobby.
We normally put a countdown timer in the portal (in the case of this event, www.gamereplays/commandandconquer3/) a few hours before hand, to help players know when the event starts (sometimes people get a little confused with time zone differences).
When the event is due to start and everyone has checked in, the staff will "seed" the players and make "brackets", to tell players who they are supposed to be playing against. You should find the brackets page on the portal (in this case www.gamereplays/commandandconquer3/ again).
Once it is announced that the brackets have been fixed, you should refresh your browser, in case there have been any changes to the brackets since you opened the page.
That should tell you who you are playing against. You or your opponent should then make a game using the map specified by the tournament rules. Often, the staff will advise you which is the correct starting map (usually because, due to the number of players attending, the event may start on a round other than the "round 1" shown in the rules).
Take note that 'tournament' game lobbies on KW and TW can be a bit buggy and sometimes do not show the games that people have made. You may need to "refresh" by leaving the lobby and coming back again to see open games that other people have made.
Once you have completed your round (in the case of this event, that will be, in the first rounds, when one of the players has achieved two wins), the winner should post all of the replays from the round in the Replay and Result topic. You should find the location of that topic on the brackets page but in this case it will be in the TW Forums "Tournaments" forum (the one underneath "General Discussions" on the Forums tab). Once that has been done, you should inform the tournament staff, who will update the brackets.
Remember again that you should keep refreshing your browser when looking at the brackets page.
The staff will try to help you as much as they can during the event but these events can sometimes get very busy for the staff and there is likely to be a high volume of message traffic, so it is difficult to give players individual attention much of the time.
The following rulings have been added to tournaments. All bugs and exploits listed below are banned in events and will be punished:
Teleporting EMP'd units Player forfeits unit to their opponent unless the opponent allows them to keep it. Unit must be sent on hold fire stance.
Beacon Building Block[/b]Player will get a warning, if he continues to use the bug they will forfeit the match, any further use will result in a disqualification
Beam-Venom unlimited range Player will have 3 seconds to stop the bug. If the player does not stop the bug they will receive a warning. If used again they forfeit the game.
Teleporting units without a wormhole or mastermind (Note: Shock Troopers &Firehawks are excluded from this) Player forfeits the game, if used again player is disqualified.
Foxhole-harverster bug Player will receive 1 warning, any further offences will result in a game forfeit.
Using sides of any maps to hide units where the enemy can't see them. Player forfeits the game, if used again player is disqualified.
Producing duplicates of units to get them to instantly spawn (Commando's, Mastermind) Player forfeits the game, continual usage will result in the player being disqualified
Using Stasis Shield on a superweapon AFTER the weapon has activated to stop it dealing damage. Player forfeits the game, continual usage will result in the player being disqualified
Multiple avatar upgrading from one unit.Player forfeits the game, continual usage will result in the player being disqualified
Freezing the game while in windowed mode Player forfeits the game, continual usage will result in the player being disqualified
Disconects/desynch Players decide if they want to give a win or remake the game. If they remake the game the same factions/map must be used. If players can not agree then the replay is to be sent to the referee who will decide the outcome. With disconnects if a player disconnects multiple times in a tournament they may be DQ'd.
Cheating/Disconnecting/Dispute Resolution
All reports and issues will be resolved by the tournament manager and the referees. Cheating will result in exclusion from the tournament and a ban from future tournaments hosted by GameReplays.org. Poor sportsmanship may also result in disqualification from the tournament.
If an exploit or bug is not listed above that does not mean you can use it in the tournament, any one using bugs/exploits will be dealt with on a case by case basis with the potential of full exclusion from future tournaments.

Such units as Prodigys even exist in Tiberium Wars? xD

Also should delete all those other maps from the pool. You just making it harder for OnchOnch to show he the cut in half redzone king.
It is one post in the KW section, I would hardly call that spam.
Claymores maps and Redzone 1vs1 have been removed from the map pool for now. Blacks Big Battle will stay though.

I see Black's Big Battle is in map pool too. Mistake or intention? Not that I have anything against it. Asking out of curiosity.
I added it in as this is a double elimination event and its not a "terrible" 1vs1 map. It can potentially provide some unique and longer games. If people are not a fan of it after the tournament I can remove it from the map pool.

Also players won't have to use that map if they don't want to.
