You know, FaKe videos would be such a cool idea. It could be like some sort of purepwnage thing, except be focused around our gaming endeavors.

It would be a lot of hard work to compile such a thing, but if we took some of our best replays from zh, and aoe, and combined it with some sweet demos of us playing CS and BF2 we could come up with something awesome. Let's start compiling something. Dig up old replays of gg's that we can use. That's the easy part. The hard thing is editing them and converting them to an avi. I dont even know if it's possible.
I know we can do it with battlefield footage, but thats some uber work to be done.

im leaning more towards taking replaqys and demonstrations from all of the games that we play and compiling it into one video

That would be good, but I can't do any of the recording..as my pc sucks, and recording the games would make them look shit

My computers should handle video editing no problem. I have software for it also. One thing I am very unsure of is the possibility of converting a replay to a video file. Is it doable?

You'd have to use FRAPS/ Gamecam to record the game as opposed to using the replay file.

then we should stage a game sometime. set up something with a lot of explosions, unit mixing at its finest, etc.

Dig up some nice -FaKe| replays and you can record them with Fraps

I've used fraps before, and I got a prog that could convert individual files into avi, but I have yet to figure out how to chain together a bunch of vids.
