"It's been a couple of weeks since we posted, so we thought it'd be good to do some housekeeping. The next class pack will focus on the Sniper. It's actually shaping up to be the largest TF2 update yet, with multiple new maps and a bunch of gameplay tweaks. In addition, we've got another update in the works that should be done before the Sniper, and that one will include some new content for all classes."

Very revelant to my interests. (except propably for the sniper part, he didn't need a class pack yet)

Yeah, the sniper is a class that gets better the longer the game is played. A class like the soldier or engi needs an update.

I'm interested to see what their "other content" is...

I wonder what the Double Payload will be like.

Yep.

Of interesting note, sentries fail now.

Double Payload?? How does that work.

I've played custom payload maps where the cart can be pushed either way on the track. Those maps are a lot of fun, is this what you mean by that.

The sniper is the last thing I thought would get updated. As said, they
re always at the top of the scores. Soldier definitely needs one; it's a great class but could use something new, I've put the most hours in soldier and I crave some more fun out of it.

Look at the pictures from scout update and you'll see Double Payload.

There are 2 tracks.

It'll be like wacky races.... =P

I'm not too sure, because it'll turn into a pyrofest

Some seriously big new gametype is coming, as it was there when heavy update came, and now after scout update it still isn't here.

Today's update of deleting (permanently) items from your inventory seems to indicate that something very big is coming.

Permanently seems v gay. An achievement reset would be better, so you can at least re-earn them.

I have heard rumors that you get them back when you pick them up from dead people.

I seriously do not get this one. Why would you want to permanently delete your items that you are not required to use and cause no negative effect to have them in your inventory??

Unless, like you said, there's some good reason for it, I would never do that. What would be the way to get them back? Would uninstalling it work (probably not, tied to Steam acct #). You would possibly have to repurchase the game if you accidentally deleted an item.

I guess that there will be so many items that you might want to delete some.
