Walls can only be destroyed by siege works, so you must have siege works to stop it. If you don't have siege, your base is dead. Or you could have flyers or upgraded archers, but idc about those tbh.

Why destroy the walls when you can take out the Trebs or Cats with swords/heroes?
I really don't see Wall Catas as a problem. There is so much shit you can do to stop it, building a tower while the hub builds - it will pawn the walls when he makes them - make your own catas on your fort - he can't attack your fort and has to use bombard so chances are your catas will win OR, best of all and this is a novel concept, kill a builder in your territory before it gets too close to the fort. Hell, you could probably build stuff around the hub so he can't make walls.

A tower requires builder, which you won't always have handy at the time. The builder can also be countered by an archer or something near the opponent's wall. Bringing an archer or cav or something is a lot safer than just sending in a random builder anyway.

no best way to stop it is if yuo are a faction like mordor or w/e get like 2 units and put them around his wall hub while he is building. He wont be able to build the rest of the wall and he just wasted a lot of money and possibly a builder.

Uh, yeah you can attack the trebs/cats on top of the expansions. I've done it before...
And they're not lame. I think it's lame that you're whining about them lol. If they really were lame, then everyone would be using them, and they'd be the hot topic of discussion. Kinda like how the Hobbits/ Hobbit Summon was back in 2.0 or w/e. Good times.
