Check out this week's tip on how to defeat Nod turtles without any artillery, by Perfi... why would you try that? Because you are Reaper and have no choice tongue.gif

Should have mentioned taking expansions (since his camping will limit him in that area) and attacking his main instead of his exp (on decision for example) since that is quite a key part of breaking turtles imo.

There's nothing Zocom can do so that would be pretty pointless. Zocom vs Nod is imbalanced unlike Reaper vs Nod.

Nice tip with pics to go along.thumb.gif Edit: One question I wanted to ask. In most cases while camping, wouldn't your opponent have the better of the economy through expansion?

If he camps he can't take more than one expansions, which will give you a better economy.

Can't he blast it with tib missles and shit.
I dunno ive never played a nod camper, well a decent one. And i normally just camp with him and got 1 more spectre than him. Which normally works, but properly isn't the best way to counter.

Heh, you can't camp in a Nod mirror. If he tries to turtle, just kill him with a mass of bikes.

It's the only matchup were rush is still > eco boom.

Good point, i meant juggs though, got my words mixed up.

I normally start with a billzqazion amount of bikes in nod mirrors.

Still, doesn't nod camping normally beat an early expansion because there powers make the expansion just not cost effective.

Normally a quick tech, to make sure there tech themself isn't effective because of the use of powers and then use that to expand?
Can't see reaper being that different.

id say so if you clump your expo and give them 2 ref and 3+ harv

if you spread it out so they can only get 1 ref, and further pull your harvs away when you hear it so you probably only lose 1, then the catalyst is still cost effective but your eco should still be enough stronger to make up for the tech difference

As scrin you don't even lose harvesters, and if you put your extractors in the non optimal position to the tiberium, you will only lose one extractor.

So there is no way for ZOCOM to destroy a Nod Turtle? (well, outside the Ion Cannon?)
