So far so good, but if you are a new player (like me) you can often forget about going through your mental checklist and you don't have day[9] to scream over your head like djWHEAT had in that episode. Fear not - you now have the next best thing.
Disclaimer: day[9]'s Mental Checklist Coacher is an independent program. It does not interact with StarCraft 2, it does not read or write StarCraft 2's memory, it does not intercept or modify StarCraft 2 data stream. Furthermore it does not interface with Battle.net in any way. It is in compliance with Battle.net Terms of Use.
Note that tournaments and other organized events may ban this program from usage. Consult the rules of a specific contest or event for more information.
Future plans: - Pausing - Automatically account for game speed - One time playback sounds - Fading out after a given time - so you can get the head start but then you are on your own
FAQ: Where can I get new sounds? - You can record them yourself using "Sound Recorder" utility found in Windows. - You can use this tutorial to record text to speech from windows - You can download some files and use them as long as they are in *.wav format
Can I post my awesome sound pack? Sure.

Um this will have next to no effect on protoss or zerg. Protoss cronobosts their probes, giving them different build times, and for zerg it's more a matter of WHEN to produce larvae and when to produce units.
Looks like you're gunna need genuine skill... You could just take day9's idea and use a sticky note.

It will get out of sync sometimes because you have to cut SCVS some time so its irrelevant that it says it every 17 seconds. Its still usefull for protoss for this reason. The check money, food, and mini map are good for all races as well.

And i haven't watched day[9] since beta days, but reading the description i can already say that is NOT what good timing is. Good timing is all about gamesense and not about placing a pylon on x supply...

he did this daily mostly for bronze-gold level people.
Is this a program of your own creation, Sify? It's pretty cool for those players who're struggling at Bronze and Silver.
Like Technique said, I believe this tool is only good for improving your speed with regards to such things as Injecting Larva, buildings Overlords/Pylons/Depots and mechnical stuff like that, but you learn game timings like when your opponents Mutas will arrive at your base through experience.
Those of you that watch awesome day[9] Daily series, my know of a concept of a "mental checklist".
There was a whole episode devoted to it:
