Hello CoH Community.

As some of you have noticed recently, it tooks us much longer to resolve your reports than usual.

This can be easily explained by several things.

1. Over the past few months, we've been faced with an increase in the number of reports.

The truth of the matter is that the fair play forum was having a problem because of its success.

This actually makes me excited for the future of the section but on the other side it's really sad to the community the number of cheaters which are increasing day by day.

2. Each fair specialist was busy in his respective life but i tried to keep the section as active as i could.

3. M3allem left us due to school issues and he has not been replaced yet. Special thanks for the work he has done.

4. We got an incredible number of maphacking reports which is the hardest/longest thing to do.

We apologize to those who have waited almost one month to see a Fair Play Specialist resolving his report.

About this Forum

We will update the thread as often as possible to not bother you. All the changes we can apply to the section will be posted here aswell.

This thread can be used as a Q&A thread too.

That means if you have any questions regarding the section, please ask whatever you want here, We will try to respond as good as possible to make the way easier to report.

Quick reminder to everyone

I'll update the list of things that members usually ask me to not repeat it all the time the same thing.

1.When you report someone, don't forget to add in the title for which offense it is.

2. When you don't find your report in the forum, It's because this has been moved by a FP specialist to the archives forum, still a public access there.

3. If you hesitate to report someone for harrasment, racist language and such things like those ones, Then don't worry, we deal with this offense aswell.

4. When you want to report someone, always check in first this thread to be aware of the form you have to follow.

5.If you desire to report a potential maphacker, It's important to use this with the replay attached

QUOTE
Why do you think he used a maphack? Try to include as much evidence as possible.

Example:
1:00: I'm using a very unusual FHQ strategy and he rushes his first engineers to my point without capping his side of the map. This suggests he was aware of my strategy.
3:10: I put a mine on the middle of a field in the left of the map at 2:37, and he used flamethrower to burn it, even though he had no way to know it was there.
7:00: I moved my riflemen following a very unsual path on the right, and he turned his MG at the same time.

6. Don't hesitate to report someone from our staff, we have a private room decidated for that.

7. When we confirm that a player is a cheater, we'll proceed to report the evidences to Relic, That means you'll keep informed via PM when Relic will take a decision about it.

8. Pay attention when you report someone for Sync Hacking, It's not considered as a drophack, It is a different offense, lately i've been surprised multiple times while watching some reports that some members have confused both offenses.

9. Why only 28 days of suspension for the first cheating offense here on Gamereplays.org?

Simply because we always give a second chance on the site. Keep in mind Relic and Gamereplays.org have not the same policy.

10. Using the appropriate format mentionned here is a real gain of time for us, so please pay attention for that aswell.

11. Why are you not able to edit your post when you report someone?

Because the thread is automatically invisibled and you don't have the power to edit invisibled post.

Click on "Add Reply" if you wanna add something.

Abuse of the Program

Trolling posts will be automatically invisibled by someone allowed to do that. Same for the cheating public accusations.

Also don't post any replays here, I repeat use this then click on "New Topic" if you want to report someone.

If you fail to understand this, we will consider it as a spam and we won't log your future reports anymore.

Asking infos about members who have been added into the shame list are not allowed and will be directly invisibled. PM me or another FP specialist if you want to have any additionals questions regarding it.

Thx for your understanding.

The Fair Play team.

Remy, I just want to point out that you should make this forum show on "Forums" tab to find it easier. It should be at hand while in every place on the site, but as for now it is kinda concealed in CoH discussions.

i guess placing that forum better would also increase the "report community" which is very small (i think) and that would be good also to ban ppl tongue.gif

This forum used to be the hardest POS to find, now it's slightly easier but that tab would probably result in an increase of like 100% reports biggrin.gif

Maybe make a topic(kinda like in the clan forums about the trolling how its a topic at the top) about this forum and where it's located, because tons of people join and just show hacking replays. Also I don't know if the mods actually tell them where to post before invising it or not.

I know mate... I'm gonna have a word with the staff.

@ Ironcross : Yes moderation team usually invite them to use the Fair Play Forum instead of the replay section.

Also Skyland, you may be surprised the number of people with actually 1-5 posts who came only on GR to report potential cheaters.

I'm focusing my work in the drophacking/synchacking reports.

As soon as its done, I'll focus on the rest ( maphacking reports ) which takes the most of time ...

Apologies again if i respond to all of you really late.

Look, I really don't know where else to post this, so I'll do it here. I'll check back shortly to see where you moved it, and I'll know where to post future requests of this nature. This is an accusation of cheating, but a different one. There are 3 guys on here, that I have noticed have been piling up skirmish wins at an insane rate (3000 a day). I wondered what was going on so I requested him as a friend and joined one of their games. The person I joined has the username "skirmishperfection". As soon as the game started, it gave us a sync error and a win. Since then, I see a loop of "starting up a game", "in skirmish", "starting up a game", "in skirmish" over and over all day long, actually in the past 2 hours, he has won 500+ games in a row. Two other people I know of do this same synchacking? I guess that's what I'd call it. Their names are "blahweery" and "darkbringer88", the 2 of them combined have over 100,000 wins. That would take DECADES to accomplish, literally! Now, I know it's not nearly as big of a deal as 2v2 maphacking or drophacking, but I play CPU's cuz of all the hacking going on in this game. Now, I can't even have fun playing a skirmish game, because people are cheating at those too. Please address this problem, or forward it to the appropriate forum. Thank you.
