There is a World Building Challenge upcoming that involves making a Tournament Map! You may already have experience when it comes to building maps, but Tournament Maps follow a set of specific rules.
Hop on over to this Portal post to see what is needed to make your very own Tournament Map. Aside from telling you what is expected, the thread will also guide you through many of the World Builder functions by creating a map from scratch.
The guide is loaded with images and tips, so there's something for new and experienced world builders alike.
When the World Building Challenge is over, each map will be rated by Predatore, phantom9399 and myself. We will be rating different aspects of the maps.
Although I am a judge, I will still be offering advice to mappers who find themselves having a question. While I cannot offer guidance about your map setup (Is my Tiberium Field too large? Is the Tiberium Spike too far away? Did I use enough textures?), I can give hints about them.
I will also be answering any questions related to the World Builder program. Most of the tools have been explained in the guide, but if you struggle with any of them, then feel free to ask.

After reading this guide it makes me want to actually try do a remake of pipeline problems myself since our awesome map maker Predator is busy creating other awesome maps ;P
Very nice guide. The grid thingy to find the middle is very handy. I just drew 2 diagonal lines with a road to find the middle, but this is way faster and better. Nice guide.
