If you can't decide who should start the elimination, the player with the lowest seed number on Challonge will eliminate first which can be verified on the bracket. If you don't know what that means, ask a Referee. Factions, including random, must be chosen before elimination begins and cannot be changed afterwards. If a player changes faction after map elimination is complete, the other player can decide to counter pick, do nothing, or restart the map elimination process at his discretion. The same map cannot be played twice in any series during any round.

Playing on maps that are not in the map pool is prohibited. Players who play for the first time on a map that is not part of the map pool will receive a warning. In case of a recurring violation of the aforementioned rule, the tournament staff will decide what to do at their discretion. If your opponent insists on playing a map that is not in the map pool, please let the tournament staff know.

Seeding will be randomly seeded before the tournament starts.

Result Reporting and Replays

After the winner of each round has been determined, it is the responsibility of the winning player to report the victory to a referee and to post the result and the replay(s) in the specified results thread. Players may not proceed to play their next round unless and until the replays (both defeats and victories) from the previous rounds have been uploaded to gamereplays.org as directed by the tournament rules or staff.

If a player disconnects during a match, it is considered a loss. If their opponent agrees to rehost and play the match, then the rehosted match will be considered the official match. Disrespect, hate speech, verbal abuse, use of abusive remarks or symbols, etc. will not be tolerated. If unsure, donít do it.

The consequences for violation of any rule are in the sole discretion of the tournament organizers. Players found to have violated the rules may be declared the loser of a match, or disqualified from further play or eligibility for prizes, or otherwise penalized as deemed fair by the tournament organizers.

Tournament organizers will endeavor to provide a fundamentally fair and level playing field to the greatest extent possible. These rules are subject to change in the discretion of the tournament organizers and the interest of sportsmanship and fair play. If a situation arises which is not covered by these rules, the tournament organizers will determine the fairest course of action considering all the circumstances, and add a rule to cover future instances of the same issue. Rules to cover future instances may or may not match up with the field ruling of the tournament organizers, in the interest of sportsmanship and fair play.

Cheating/Disconnecting/Dispute Resolution

All reports and issues will be resolved by the tournament manager and the referees. Cheating will result in exclusion from the tournament and a ban from future tournaments hosted by GameReplays.org. Poor sportsmanship may also result in disqualification from the tournament.

If an exploit or bug is not listed above that does not mean you can use it in the tournament, any one using bugs/exploits will be dealt with on a case by case basis with the potential of full exclusion from future tournaments.

Being Late

Players/teams that fail to show how up within 15 minutes of their allocated match time will be disqualified.
