One of the great things about the
Company of Heroes community is that good tournaments are always in the near future. And with the
vCoH Tournament XIII just conlcuded, you can look forward to the upcoming Blitz 1v1 Tournament. It is the fourth of such tournaments, which have been excellently conducted by our fellow forum member
BuckyBoy. If you're looking for intense competitive play, or perhaps a just a couple of good games, the Blitz Tournament has room for you.
Here's some quick information:
- The tournament begins on Sunday, December 20th, 11:00 AM GMT. Show up 15 minutes early.
- There are 32 Player Slots, Single Game Elimination.
- Each round lasts half an hour.
- Players agree together on faction, map, ect. If players cannot agree, organizers will decide.
- Round coordination will be held in the Hanoi Chat room.
- No restrictions on gameplay of any type.
In addition to just good play, there will also be cash prizes! The first place winner will receive 25 USD, and the second place winner 10 USD. This may not seem like a gigantic prize pot, but when was the last time you got paid to play video games? Probably never. This tournament will fill up fast--don't wait.
