The rating of 9 was given by some forum member. I don't know who it is, but I think the higher ups can find out. The replay was good, but I personally don't think that the replay deserves that high of a rating. Still a very good replay for people to watch and learn from.

This game is worth a 7, and thats purely on the fact that its entertaining. There were alot of mistakes and micro flaws in both or maybe more in Fujixes game. Such as losing to many units, preserving the units you have is a big part of microing them. Just to name stuff is the suicide volks I saw there and here. He had 4 volks at 1 point and all died, I myself have started to put big importance on my early units by doing 150 % I can to keep them alive. Alot of pumas went gone as armor started appearing, just as a reminder mass pumas does work until the armor comes. If you know he has a tank depot or can guess he's doing 1, don't get more than 1-2 pumas. In mid and very late game the mass pumas just cost him the game due to the reappearance of shermans. I spoke with Fujix about em tigers. He tried to convince me they didn't obey orders normally neither due to lag or AI issues. I found that hard to believe but I haven't used blitz tigers much so I can't comment totally. I must say I was technically crying at his tiger micro. If he has 2 tigers and can't beat 2 unupgraded shermans theres something lacking. Nystrom was lucky with the tigers imo because fujix wasn't able to deploy them to their best. Smoke wasn't really a issue as fujix did have alot of space to back up to and force the shermans to move out of the smoke to continue engagement. Overall a very entertaining game with back and forths showing into what kinda stuff CoH can evolve into, but it shouldn't be valued for player skill as it was lacking.

i gave it a 9 which on second thought probably is a little high considering the endgame, but man i thought the initial infantry battles were the best ive seen in a replay, and overall it was better than many 7 rated games imo.

ive also seen worse tank micro called excellent x<

anywho well played guys, fun to watch \o/

It wsn't a 9 in my opinion post-13661-1143531603.gif

Axis lost his Tigers way too easy and they even had Sturmtruppen support. I know that the Smoke Bombs or whatever they are, have a huge impact on accuracy, but even then I'd have retreated the Tanks and Soldiers to fight when the Smoke screen is gone.

One question though:

Why doesn't anyone retreat their Sturmgeschuetze when a Sherman is charging them? I mean this is only going to end up with the Sherman driving circles around the Sturmgeschuetz, while it takes it out wacko.gif
