An extremely entertaining game on Angoville with Khem's blitz axis to the north vs Challengerli's allied armor company to the south. Khem uses a 1 pio start but has some troubles defending his right side of the map and even loses an mbike to li's riflemen, meanwhile li has capped the whole left side. Li upgrades grenades and khem deploys another mg42 to help on the left, his other mg gets naded but stands it's ground on the right, li loses a rifle squad on the left & this allows khem to push down the whole left side while capping the right, 2 stormtrooper squads arrive as li deploys his first quad that after scouting the left a bit, decides to move down the right side. Khem builds a KKC that provides enough xp for him to deploy a stuh to help on the right, li responds with an AT gun, another stuh is deployed and by itself flanks & lays waste to the AT gun's crew. Khem has the left side & li is pushing for the right with BAR's, quad & AT guns vs cloaked storms & stuh's, VP is 344 each and it's anyone's game.
Khem deploys a tiger while li has yet another AT gun totalling at 3, the tiger can't break through the right so helps to defend the left side with a stuh, eventually making their way down to li's base to destroy his motor pool & retreating. Khem builds a repair bunker and flanks 2 AT guns & a quad on the right side, demolishing them while his tigers 5% bugs, ends up taking a pershing to very low health that gets finished off by panzershreks. Khem has the advantage but only 30 VP left to li's 311, it's a scrappy battle to the finish line as li tries to tick the VP down while khem is demolishing his base.
Axis: Khem (Blitz)
Decent early game, after securing the right you pushed down the left side and controlled it for the majority of the game. Stuh and bundle nade use was top notch, you inflicted heavy casualties while not taking many yourself, draining li's MP as he pushed down the right. Great job on flanking the AT gun with a stuh on the right side, you killed the whole crew & retreated to repair after, only criticism I have is maybe lvl 3 vet for infantry would have worked better in this situation that a 2nd stuh, the AT guns were holding you off a great deal mid-game until the tiger came out. Best move of the game was splitting li's army apart and taking out the 2 AT guns/quad on the right side in combination with taking out the pershing after, this allowed your military to dominate after.
What this player can improve upon:
Could have retreated a volks squad early in the game on the far left.
Sent a stuh into suicide on the right when it shouldn't have.
No lvl 2 vet for infantry, it makes so much difference.
Could have used CP to get blitzkrieg assault to help you in the battle with tigers at the end.
Allies: Challengerli (Armor)
A very good early game, you owned the whole left & was pressing khem for the right side, eventually you had to retreat until your quad came but you used that well on the right, constantly reinforcing riflemen and pushing with AT guns allowed you to take the right side back. Nade use was good as was AT gun placement, after securing the right I think the quad could have started helping on the left side too. A big mistake to split your force up, khem overwhelmed you on the right with the stuh, Tiger & infantry then took the left with 2 tigers. It was unlucky your pershing couldn't finish off khem's tiger in the middle otherwise the game could have easilly gone your way from that point on.
What this player can improve upon:
Could have retreated a rifle squad on the left early in the game
Could have put more pressure down that left side, khem only had an mg42 guarding it for most of the game.
Shouldn't have split your force up late-game, maybe press through the middle of the map instead.
