Company of Heroes

Aimstrong (Lvl 19/Wm) vs TOMITOMA (Lvl19/US)

Granted, Toma was lucky Propaganda War didn't work on the left flank - but Aimstrong had strong aim (get it?! HAHAHAHA jesus I'm hilarious) with his 1/5th Pershing health rockets (aka; 'shrecks). Ridiculous accuracy in that regard - just bam, bam, bam, bam. Tom Cruise's character in Collateral would have been proud of their Mozambique drill-esque accuracy.

Not to mention, I didn't realize all you needed to defeat everything the Americans could ever throw at you were triple vetted Grenadiers with LMGs and Shrecks. It's always entertaining to see which direction luck will take a game, though. Especially between two ridiculously good players that are fairly evenly matched.

Finally, while the M8 was epic and went on a serial killer rampage (2x!) the survived Calliope barrage gets my wub. And a picture - just 'cause it's awesome.

You guys wouldnt believe me but it's not a unit that changed the game, but an ability!

Enter field repairs! (it saved the first m8 from the puma, thus changed the game, then it keeped winning time all game long)

Wubbed for classic US play.

Strange there were no defensive mines, minesweeper, or schrecks even after the M8 came to visit.

I really do not understand why people neglect the second supply yard upgrade when they're floating so much fuel like Tomi was...

I'm willing to bet had he researched that upgrade he would have won by a mile with the increased MP income. It makes such a major difference overall, especially in a lengthy game such as this. With a decent size force you'll generally get an extra 30mp/minute. You should be able to get the upgrade around the 15-20 minute mark, leaving roughly 40 minutes which translates into an extra 1200 mp, give or take depending on the amount of units on the field.

Other than that, wubbed.

NOTE: I just noticed that he DID research the upgrade but a bit too late at around 56 minutes in...

This game was decided by the not working force retreat... But Ami deserved to win for his epic M8 hero...

Calliope against vet 3 grens/kch is just useless :\

Wubbed!

Note: I agree, supply yard upgrade is really usefull if you have lot of unused fuel.. not only for the mp income, but for the veterancy too.

Great replay! The only thing I would have done differently as American would have been the upgun for the Pershing. The first two tanks would have been far more effective. I like how he resisted temptation to throw nades/stickies and plant mines everywhere to save his munis for repairs. Well-planned, well-executed strat.

What's this I hear about supply yard upgrades helping with infantry vet? I thought it just decreased your upkeep 25% each upgrade.
