Yeah, he played a decent game. I was hoping for Panthers, but I didn't have the 1000 mp in time unfortunately.
yeah, you also lost quite some PGs that you replaced in the game and that cost you some MP. Also,...I have to ask...why SE? I mean I love seing put SE doctrine to good use but in 1v1 that rarely is the case. Going for SE only for hummel - I believe it's not worth it. luft would give you flak to deal with his armor, butterflies and falls. TD would give you jagd, hetzers, dual shrecks, and tellers to deal with his armor.

gj though
You're absolutely right. I've been playing with SE lately, solely because I like the doctrine. In hindsight it is not the best choice, no.
Also, I could not identify that he went Armor doctrine when I picked my own doctrine. No indications until the Calliope was on the field.

don't get me wrong, I really love SE also! Hummels are the strongest on-map howitzers, SA can be devastating. Late game VP denial can also be fun. Not mentioning constant microing when opponent hears that annoying "click" Especially almost impossible to dodge when opponent enters a booby trapped building (that's why I go SE on Semois - lots of buildings).
It's just not on pair with luft and TD. We never see jaghd in 1v1 so people - start playing RHS TD doctrine with PE and give us some good jaghd vs persh actions
