Lost in 10 minutes, how?

Hey guys, could use some help! I lost this game against wehr very quickly. I already watched some replays and streams, but I still have no idea what I'm supposed to do against this kind of play.

Tips are welcome!

I'm not a good brit player, but i've sure been owned by them enough times to be able to answer this question.

You lost in 10 minutes because your open is, well, poor.

Seems you have a conventional mindset for your open. In other words, it looks like you're capping as if you're playing USA. Build order wasn't bad, but capping order was terrible.

Your first recon squad should be going straight into enemy territory to pressure him, scout, etc.

You should be generally looking to move your truck to munitions point immediately after building your Lt. Munitions give Brits the much needed early firepower they need. Ideally on this map with the exact build order you had, you should have been fighting over his cutoff instead of back on your side of the map. Trenching at his cutoff.

Don't worry so much about capping up the map behind you, brits only need a couple points to keep tech moving fast enough.

Prioritize the munitions +16. Using the LT to capture it is highly risky, especially if you retreat it at first notice.

Thanks man! That might explain why the players I watch never seem to encounter this kind of situations. I'll certainly keep this in mind next time.

And you're right, with Brits I'm facing a lot of situations that just don't happen with the other factions, so any decent player can rek me pretty easily at this point.

Tried it today! The opening phase already went a lot smoother and the mid game was much more relaxt because of that, I'll keep experimenting with your tips!
