Sherman spam isn't a super competitive strat, mainly because the shermans are so expensive and even with upgun they suck in penetration values. You saw this game that around every engagement the shermans had with the panthers, basically every shot bounced. Upgunned shermans simply aren't good at killing axis armor. American tanks/TDs just suck in general, its about how you use them in conjunction with the rest of the army in order to win. In this instance, blackziggy threw so many engineers and rifles that he was practically forced to rely on his tanks to make an impact. US rifles and engineers are far more important than shermans, and this is reflected through their more impressive veterancy modifiers. The goal of US armor is to be supporting allied infantry, even sacrificing themselves if need be to conduct good engagements for their inf.

Combined arms is the key to winning, sherman and M10 spam isn't gonna win games, im talking about ziggy lost all his infantry which is BAD as Americans. Shermans working in tandem with Flame/rifle groups and M10s trading for Stugs/Panthers with the Infantry Company player dropping Off-map arty on paks is what is going to win games.

Yes, you're right, but depending on the situation, there are times when M10 spam solves the whole game.
