Well, you never know the outcome of the game if if if, but as a matter of fact Contador played extremely poorly and put on zero pressure on Siberian, let him build up the Mortar pit in standard location etc. Way too passive WM games and ofc quick loss is the result. I think Contador doesnt know howto T1 Brits properly. Siberians build was obvious and an invitation to T1-T3.

No need to defend yourself, SiberianPlatoon. He should know that such flaming isn't allowed, so I've invisibled it. happy.gif

Well this game shows that Bren carrier is too strong, even if it isn't a Bib. After 2 minutes Sib had an upgunned bren carrier, which instantly started roflpwning Contador's troops. The bike was on the field for 20 seconds and when the bren started firing it lasted 2 seconds ...

That unit needs some other toning down somehow.

possibities for that:
Make it 15 fuel
Make the upgun cost 75 muni
Tone down the gun a little
Built time increased with 10 seconds
...

And oh ye, the pak is much to underwhelming vs Cromwells. One overdrive and Paks is taken out.

Of course i realize i really am not a good enough player to act all pro on this, but Contador i really thought your macro should have been better... With brits, on this map especially, good micro ( which you obviously have ) won't necessarily get you the game...

Why didn't you just grenspam? With siberian's opening, you could easily have netted enough fuel to get t2 building up, and in 8 out of 10 times, when that building is up, game over..

While i realize Kolaris is not of the same caliber of a brit player as Siberian ( no offense Kolaris ) You could easily have done something like this...

The strength of the PAK is not really the problem here, the ordinary move of making 1-2 cromwells, driving to the PAK/MG setup location, reveal the ground there, flank and drop the commando glider to take the support weapons out is the most ordinary of ordinary things. Ive seen it 100000000 times and it wil be reapeated again and again. You need to prepare for this by either making a med bunker+flamer inside and put your units around that or having a superior gren army by the time and use FTFL or my having your MGs cover each other. There was a specific nerf for commandos in 2.4 (I think) that triggered the smoke cooldown right after the landed, so they couldnt use it. If you dont know this, then thats not really expert level. So you can suppress commandos after they land.
If youre playing a good WM you also have to abuse the Brit build order. Siberian went for an extremely quick Cromwell, he only made 1 extra Tommy and the bren. If you stay outside the mortar pit and put pressure on this inf truck with flamers+MGs+Volks+Bike+sniper and tech to T3 meanwhile you will get a totally different game. Siberian could not even get free squads, because he rushed so fast for the Cromwell, that he even skipped the CCS. The fact that he can pull it off and Contador is still not playing aggressively just shows that Siberian played better. Contador should have spammed more T1 units, be aggressive to force the brit into defending and then spam Stugs. Then the Commando drop cant do anything. Also Brits cant deal with a combination of wire+TTs. That seals off your cut off completeley and you can ignore the mortar pit entirely. Also if no squads around why not burn the mortar pit with 2 flamers? If Siberian is harassing the territory thats a quick way to stop it immediately. Siberian only had 2 inf sections total plus the carrier. If he even splits those up over the map why not exploit it and attack? That is good play. I think Contador misunderstands, that in the Brit - WM game sometimes the WM is the attacking faction. Some really good Starcraft player once said: "if youre not attacking, youre probably losing". Thats very true to this game.
The problem here is, that Contador played extremely passive from the start on and was always a step behind of Siberian. Ofc Brits on Ango is extremely strong and Brits will have the advantage on that map, but before I want to blame the faction/map I would rather like to see WM play better in the first place and then see what really was the deciding factor.
