ouch...this one was an even clearer domination than the other match. Magpies you dropped the ball brother. Aimstrong's superiority comes from the little things he does right. Just little subtle things like how he sometimes kites your entire regiment away from the action with a single pio/engineer squad rather than just retreating them right away. Always knows the exact perfect time to retreat and when to not retreat.
Towards the end there was a small move of sheer brilliance when his 1 remaining Volkgrenadier was facing termination and instead of force-retreating him to his guaranteed death through 2 squads of riflemen, he walked him up north, with zero health and just one model remaining and then distracted you with more flanking troops, so that that one near-dead model was able to make big consequences by recapping important points like the VP etc. Most people would have just retreated him and had him gunned down on the run by the two awaiting riflemen.

In the end, unit preservation I feel once again let Magpies down as you were again losing squads constantly, which just like the other match Aimstrong was able to take advantage of. In last match he took 2 mg42's of yours then used them against you to pin your entire regiment and annihilate them all in a final battle of mass death and casualties. In this one he killed multiple squads of your riflemen then armed his Volks with their BARS resulting in super Volks that then dominated you and kicked your ass all over the map. A 'pro level' player should not be losing entire squads on such a consistent level that you have lost in these last 2 matches Magpies. You need to learn to start retreating your squads much earlier. Once again just like in last match, in this match you were left in the end with only 2 or so squads and I think no engineers, as he had 5-7 squads total and counting because he knew how to preserve his troops.

one might say "Oh at the high pro level, one can't always preserve their units against the top opposition" well that's true not always, but why is it then that Aimstrong CONSISTENTLY rarely loses any squads? Obviously he's doing something different than many other players. In both of the matches I've watched so far against Magpies, Aimstrong lost maybe 1 squad or 2 at most. Magpies probably 10-15 squads total were annihilated.

Aimstrong is clearly better player, he showed. But magpie you are talking about that much bad, came after long break in coh...
Every player has his peak time of performance. Do you think Drhorse plays bad as didn't win last tourneys? I talked him, Drhorse said practice makes a lot differance. Drhorse don't do practice, he just plays tourney only and for fun. Doesn't make him average player, if he can't make in final. But due to his name people watch replays and tourney looks more competitive...
In this case mags basically left coh, and he deleted all his profiles too. But people at GR will see good competitive games, so he atleast came to play this tourney not like seph or 12azor...
And you can see, mags don't bother about winning money. If that would be case, he would simply piospam in finals too. Rather he will donate his winning money to support next GR tourney. Problem with mags is only when he want to show his opinion, he does in arrogant way. which you will not like but that is right mostly. Beside mags admitted that he played bad instead giving excuse...

PS
Mags is not my friend so i am covering his mistake..but aimstrong is.
