[4] 12azor vs. [8] GosuStarcraft - Semi-Finals Game 2 12azor - Wehrmacht GosuStarcraft - Americans
Interesting tech from Gosu's Americans early on gives 12azor's Defensive Wehrmacht playstyle a run for its money in Game 2 of this semi-final round. Electing for extremely fast BARs before even a fourth riflesquad, Gosu pressures 12azor into bunkering up early and denying the bottom-right fuel for the majority of the earlygame. However, after staving off a number of American flanks, 12azor falls victim to a phantom assault on the left by Gosu and leaves his medic bunker undefended save for a lone MG. With this opening exploited, the game seesaws for a little while, although it never sways too far from the American player's favour. Although definitely not the nail-biter that was Game 1, this match promises something interesting for anyone interested in countering solid defensive Wehr play on Langres.
What to watch for:
Extremely fast and risky BARs with only 3 rifles on the field
Constant harassment drains manpower on both sides and delays teching indefinitely
One tier from the Americans and two from the Wehrmacht
