Seeking Advice US vs. PE top 100

Hoping to get some tips. Match vs. Top 100 PE player.

Run into serious problems with x2 AC + ATHT + MTHT combo vs. PE midgame. ACs dart in to do damage, MTHT lobs in damage, while ATHT makes M8s very difficult to manuever.

Any advice from players who can compete with Top 100 PE players consistently would be appreciated.

In my opinion, 10/10 micro PE player beats 10/10 micro US player in every single game cause PE vs US games are always an uphill battle for the US player from the moment where you have 3 engineer and 1 rifle on the field while the enemy has 3 pgrens, to the moment where you start building an m8 while your oponent has 1 or 2 ac and already building a counter to your m8 with a point and click ability to the moment when you finally get the at gun when your opponent just build that shitty mortar to counter that as well + not to mention he has a blob of at least 4 pgrens in adition to the ac's. And then you struggle for about 10 minutes of back and forth combat and you just wait for your opponent to get the panthers and win.

Also, for anyone out there screaming "but Kaos, the Aimstrong strategy", well, that strat doesn't work sadly vs good pe players, no one is playing that strategy for a reason, you struggle to get the t3 and then some smartass starts shouting that you should rush t4 and avoid combat, gl with that, it is possible only if you totally outplay the pe player in the early game.

So the conclusion is, pe vs us matchup slightly favors pe, on some maps it favors pe really hard. That is also the reason why I myself avoid putting PE and Brits in the tournaments I host, simply because they are not very well balanced for 1v1. Wehr stomps Brits, PE stomps US, Brits stomp PE.

But if you wanna try and win vs PE, I could recommend playing 3 engineers (build rax with 3rd one), 3 rifles, avoid fights while you don't have flamer blobbed with at least 3 rifles, or until you are sure you can 100% win the fight, rush m8, get atgun, try to get a sniper or 2 if pe player has a lot of vet infantry, and basically micro your units to win.

So specifically... how does one micro better with an AT Gun or M8s? I feel like my infantry micro isn't terrible (and I rarely feel like I'm getting totally owned in the early game vs. anyone outside say, the top 50 PE).

But I DO feel like my vehicle micro IS terrible in this game, but I'm not really sure what I"m doing wrong? Are my AT guns being positioned poorly? Are my M8s too far forward? Too far back? Are my infantry too separated from my M8s? From the ATGs?

Any tips on that specifically would be great...

I agree 100% with Kaos. Anyone who argues that US > PE doesn't ever play as US versus good PE players.

Maybe the only exception is PE on Semois where there is enough cover for US to get close to the pgrens.

pg pg ket... and react!! without second ketten all what you need is perfect flanking and timming atack when PE build tech and like 90% rapently gg!

Balance depands of level play. Never tired repeat.

as USA vs PE = non, I repeat non! micro wount save you if you doing wrong moves. Thats why it looks so OP also.

if some advices:
1. always play jeep 1st 95%
2. 3-4es split.
3. take onlymuni 1st and get quick flamer.
4. almost never spam t1 shit. build t3 as soon as you can.
5. 95% armor doc and 1st skill left side. after that go cali, sometimes repair.
6. almost never bars / nades.
7. t4/t2 before cali needed almost always.
8. vs atht keep m8 very defansive, or play like x2 m8 (together or split) and x2 ATg. this way you give space for m8s. with late snipe / t4. t4 good on big maps (after t3) where you can fight for map control. maybe on sturz you can fast t4 only.
9. always keep engeniers out of range of pgs, do flanking.
10. practice ur jeep pushing.
11. push PE when he buid tech.
12. NEVER lose much MP for map control! small example. if you lose 700 MP it is -2 sniper, even if you kill 700 MP it is like -3 pg. or 3 AC. problam for PE that you can't micro all stuff in mid game. human concentration limited. And even if you can do it - some things you can't change like 2 atgs 1 shot vehicle or 3 sn 1 shot PG. Even increase of numbers = always bad for PE.
13. if you can - NEVER fight blob vs blob. PE get too much vet from this.
14. all game PE has problams against buildings (usa only start). keep in mind that factor. Also pgs ways worse in green cover than USA. Many player have wrong meta. like rifles / flamer - it is fighting units. it is not. it is buy time / map control / cover units. example. engenier with flamer nearby ATg + rifle in green cover, engs lay mines around and jump into house. And you got strong posicion on flank.
15. up soply levels and get x2 cali on super late game.
16. in start always ignore VP, even x3 cap, till some tech comming.
17. vs mass pg strategy you can't do timming push. just make healing. the key is that you can fight / flanking very well nearby your base. with like 35-40% map control. because short retreat path. and quick healing. save mp and get atgs + m8s mix. in late game those mass pgs not realy count like a unit.

game vs DD.
you did realy well just some mistakes and they critical.
1. you missed +10 muni in back and prioritised fuel. you can't take map control with all of this houses without flamer. better take fuel later but for longer and without casualtys.
2. he played schwim, usealy it is TD. When you seen g43 and second scwim on +5 fuel you must count his muni soply and when he can reach 35 muni and where posybly can be mines.
3. healing - not realy good this situation.
4. OP - bad idea, especialy vs schwim, coz schwim = TD and OP means switch into t4. but tanks are bad vs TD usealy.
5. on semois some tank traps can help also. limit AC area. block top +10 muni from 1 side. block island from middle enter. maybe 5 tank traps can block you fuel side (but sometimes it works against you in mid game).
6. big and popular mistake trying cut some PE and pay some for it, retreat units take damage.
PE ULTRA cheap on fuel !! concentrate on your teretory! cover it when AC timming. cutting only if can cut for free.
USA opposite need more tech. like atg m8 healing siper lv soply and sticks like must have minimum.
basycally it. pretty solid play.
