That one panther had only a sliver of life left and took 4 sticky bombs to kill! I couldn't understand why the American kept using stickies when he had a perfectly good AT gun sitting in his base facing toward the tank. The only reason it couldn't fire was because the HQ was in the way. The American could have also used his riflesquad to re-crew the AT gun that WAS firing at the panther.
Also, don't sit your halftrack on top of a mine. You're just asking for trouble from an errant mortar!
The PE guy pretty much gave up after losing his Flak88 (through carelessness). His new panthers sat in the same place after REPEATEDLY getting hit by multiple barrages from calliopes. I couldn't believe it! He didn't relocate them after the first couple barrages, and let them sit in the same place while getting repaired by his new Luftwaffe ground force. Of course he loses the luftwaffe to the calliope too.
It was an entertaining game at the least, but sloppy play.
I think it was a nice comeback. Fate almost lost the game, loosing almost every unit. But he made it. And he played very nice !
