My first game, automatch, since the middle of August. 28 minutes and 41 seconds in duration.
I saw the loading screen and my heart sank again. All I ever get at this level is drawn against a Brit player and to boot on Semois again.
I knew that it was going to be a slog because at this level the Brit player is unable to think "outside of the box", so I knew what to expect. The usual big blob of doom with bren tommies and PIAT sappers, plus at least a couple of Staghounds. I wasn't wrong, but I was surprised to see minesweeper sappers so mine laying was out of the question until I had been able to dispose of them.
I went a T1-T2-T4 strategy and surprisingly it worked. The outcome would probably have been different if the buses/trucks had been moved but they stayed near to his spawn point.
The choice of RCA was to be expected, it is either that Company Commander Tech Tree or Royal Commandos. As usual I chose Blitz as that, I feel, is most efective against the Brit player; especially at my level.
I would at some stage like a vanilla match up just so that I can try to use the other Doctrines in the Wehrmacht arsenal. Also it would make a welcome change. My mistake, as usual, was the lack of a medi-bunker and a bit careless with some Pioneers and a Volksquad.

Enjoyed the replay. Blitzkrieg is always a good choice vs the brits, the stuh is effective vs almost the entire brit arsenal.
From my recent experiences, defensive is good vs brits since you can fortify your bunker and reinforce from it. And with FTFL a insuperior wher force can beat a charging brit blob.
Propaganda war makes terror vs brits awesome, at least on my lvl. (8-9 wher)
the brit player was bad. he tried a crap strat and of course it failed (btw against a bad WM player).
look: only brits decision to build up all his 3 main dev-cars in one field ,
and do not move whole game them is a shit idea, its loosing to many fuel/immo income.
the brits advantages are clear: fast bren to chase pios in beginning, moving dev-cars in lukrative areas for immo/fuel, fast mortar in centrum, then look further: maybe fast stuart or whatever.....
it's lvl 6 vs lvl 7... what do you expect? if i watch two 3 year olds fight over a pack of gummybears i don't complain that they don't know any martial arts...
