Still didnt check it out, but your description reminds me of a situation where a 100% hp Hetzer suddenly exploded for no reason when encountering another Hetzer. It was a 1v1 game, can't remember if it was Napoleon's stream, but pretty sure there is a clip around somewhere. In any case, this game is still providing wtf moments

I think you are talking about biosparks? I remember that clip really strange phenomenon indeed...
Same experience as Jammem watching replay. First time it did not explode and went on to recover the PIV IST. Watched two more times and it mysteriously exploded around 25:20. Watched a fourth time as brit, also exploded. Quit to main menu and reloaded. Again on first playback, it did not explode, then on second playback it did.
Could this be a bizarre sync error with two mismatched accounts of events? Perhaps the playback has an arbitration system that causes one account to be displayed on initial playback and the other to be displayed on subsequent playbacks. Game appears to end before VP ticks to zero with the brit dropping.

So the moral of the story is, stop using a Maphack!
The Brit had this easily won but after your Berg exploded, it was like he almost stopped playing. It'd be interesting to hear if he was just distracted or he was having some kind of sync error.
PE is OP vs US by far. PE vs Brits is IMHO the most balances match up in the game. Late game PE vet is usually to good and it's not hard to over run Brits.
