Great games, guys! Agreeing with several posters, there were more than one factor deciding this game (an important one ofc Seb´s good play). As written in that thread before the tourney ( http://www.gamereplays.org/community/index...howtopic=582603 - hey, you guys probably couldve won some bucks from me, as the ratio wasnt that overwhelming I guess) I (still) believe WM is better than US on most maps at the moment. Surprisingly, we saw a lot of different strats for the WM. In my opinion, in most circumstances, T1 -> T2 with vet1 (followed by vet2 immediately or at some later stage) -> T3 and/or T4 (always def doctrine) is clearly the strongest. In most games with T1-T3 there was an eventual backtech to T2 anyway. I think, T2 can hold long enough to enable T3; at that point it gets incredibly hard to beat. I´d be interested if some players didnt apply this strategy cause it - admittedly - is kind of lame (including pak sniping), or because they disagree with me here (and if, why). I also want to refer to Sepha´s replay pack which features that strategy almost boring-exclusively (though coupled with Terror doc in some cases).
