Just such a frustrating game. I just cant figure out how to beat this faction. Have the upper hand in every way I can't kill his mob, can't crack his inner circle of AT guns and arty. Just crazy
Next time, go for some Panzer 4's. Whirbelwind and AC's are too fragile to deal with a blob of infantry mixed with piats.
Also, do not use the flame ability of the mortar HT on his healing posts. It is a waste of munition.
Good point on PNZR IV's, the MT-HT drops weren't targeted at healing posts they were targeted at the squads around it, thought maybe I could take out some weakened squads, is this a mistake?

I understand you target the squads but he is going to spend his 40 munitions on healing his troops anyway and he'll just move his troops over to the other side where he can heal further without taking fire damage. Trying to get actual kills with that is just not worth your munitions.
What I would've done in your situation: Build 2 mortar half tracks, gotta be careful though for the forced sprint ability. Secondly, after you flanked all the way around, you can attack the front of his base with two PG with shrecks. Blobbers like this can't multi task so they'll sent their entire blob after one threat. Make him choose.
The butterflies were a great defence and worth their munition. What you could also try is teching for a T1, vampire HT and build goliaths. Those are extremely effective at emplacements, which he was very fond of. Again, dont just rush in those goliaths; you gotta distract his blob away from his base.
