I wish I could answer your question, but i'm also interested in the answer.
I'm really surprised the Falls perform as well as they did against that brit blob. I assumed they would get chewed up like everything else.
How about goliath? Does that fall under the unethical category? This game was perfect situation for some goliaths to punish the blob.
Wubbed for the back door squad wipe with ACs, Falls cutting through troops like butter, and butterlies on the HQ.
Yeah vampire and goliath would have been good idea for sure. I don't really prioritize T1 though, and never start with it because I can never make it work. When I get it it's usually just for sprint or vampire. I don't see that much else useful from it.
Yeah the Fallschirmjagers did hella work. Got them for capping power and to rape those piats. Appears as if they hard counter piat blobs.
I really dunno why he didn't finish that trench at his base. You would put a trench at your base to counter the ac and not let it squad wipe your guys and feed it vet. If he finished it wouldn't have lost that piat squad for sure.

IMO a game like this where Brit is committing to blob tactics to deny your vehicles, plus you're on the munitions rich fields of Sturz, you gotta have some defensive goliaths out there. I understand not having much utility out of T1, but it costs about 440mp to get your Vampire out, including the cost of dropping T1 obviously. This cost is perfectly justifiable when trying to deny that blob. Goliath isnt just a soft counter that's nice to have, it very well could be the best hard counter to brit blob...? 1 or 2 good goliath hits is GG.
When i watched this replay i was thinking i would have went Vampire instead of the Fallschirmjäger, but then your Falls squads ended up really paying off, so what do i know?

Don't know why he builded kangaroos when panthers were already out and AC's were with veterancy and stalking his units all game long. I liked the map control with the cloaked kettenkrads and henchels and firefly on his hq. Wub!
On this map I typically go for 4 PE squats and try to upgrade them to G43's ASAP. The infantry push toward his HQ so that your Ketten may cap the map. Try to kill or wound the LT. Eventually he will get a Stuart (as he should) and by then you should have enough fuel to make some decent counter (ATHT x2, +Mortar).
It is not a fail-safe tactic as I haven't tested it to some of the better Brit players, but it does set you up for some early Panthers should he go Staghounds.
