[8] Situation vs. [16] 2426 - Quarter-Finals Game 2 - Tournament XIV Situation - US 2426 - Wehr
Situation manages to gain map control early by some nice harassment and goes for very early bars after the third rifle. Eventually 2426 manages to put up a med bunker, which keeps him from getting utterly pinned in his base. 2426 now expects T3 and tries to pump out a pak as fast as possible, but instead of the anticipated M8 Situation goes for a total number of 5 rifles and supply yard level 1 allowing him to easily push 2426 off the map over and over again. Two offmap barrages destroy the med bunker and force 2426 to rebuild it in order to be able to fight off the rifle horde. However Situation has a howitzer by the time the second med bunker goes up which seals 2426’s defeat.
What to watch for:
Situation using engies for harassing 2426’s fuel early and rendering his wire useless
Wehr desperately trying to secure a little share of the map
5 rifles –financed by a very fast supply yard upgrade- outnumbering anything Wehr manages to field
