Wow...what a game...I mean, the best word to describe it, really is cancer. Sadly. Giant brit-blob™ (5 tommies, 3 piats, 3 LTs). Plus sim-city with 17p, 3x piats, trenches,... On top of that, he went for RE so his tanks could hull-down I mean, seriously? People actually use RE in 1v1? I thought this doctrine actually was the worst out of all of 24 of them.
And then at the end he dared to say:"oh well, at least I outplayed you by a mile"
Big props to you to keep cool after he blobbed and destroyed many of your units and was in your base, pwning everything. Stukas were a good choice. All those Golliaths eventually payed off. Probably SE is the best doc vs that kid of blob (hummel, Sector Artyillery) but you pulled it off nonetheless.
p.s. next person who is gonna watch that replay...how many AC did TheChip lose alltogether? Must be between 15-20. I would advise you to transition to PIV IST. They handle brit-blob™ much better.

I know both Xcom and I choose RE as Brits in 100% of our games against PE. The bonus resources, extra pop cap, and the stronger emplacements are just so good.
P.S. I have beat good PE players with the doc, too. Such as PIPO, Napoleon Bonaparte, and Complexity, so the doc is definitely viable, imo.

Yea if you have good unit preservation you eventually win due to expanded popcap.

Well, I never thought of it this way. Maybe you are right, maybe I should give it a go. I just thought that commandos/arty are much more viable cause whole RHS of RE (churchills) are just...bad
