Company of Heroes

So, to get this clear right off the bat: I won this game, so this isn't a claim of sour grapes.

But the weirdest thing happens during this game. Watch the munition area just north of the central VP, right where an "on-map" starting burning crater that's smoking right from the beginning of the game is (Southeast of the Locomotive and between the oildrums).

At EXACTLY the 8:45 mark, an unmanned Wehr MG42 spawns out of nowhere.

Now initially, I thought it must have been a cheat, but it was a WEIRD fucking place to put a magic MG42. If he had the capability of dropping an MG42 whereever he wanted, that seemed like a weird time and place to do it, plus it SEEMS to coincide with my killing an MG42 elsewhere on the map? So i thought it might be a bug.

But just wondering if anyone has seen this before.

Watching the replay again, I'm increasingly convinced this is a bug, since a bunch of Volks just walk right past the unmanned MG a minute later before noticing it later... But, it's still a weird thing.

I had to rewatch this over and over again just to get the facts right, I think it might not be a bug at all... Here is why,

Yeah, it's a little glitch. Just prior to the MG spawning you can see the big circle indicating that the MG team is supposed to set up there. As the game thinks the MG is already setup up, its only a matter of time for the team members to get there. (similar to how the mg gunner of a setup-mg is killed and replaced with his team member) However, the last mg member was killed before it arrived and the game just thinks there is an empty MG setup over there.

That makes sense. It's weird, I've been playing this game since 2008, and I've been in well over 1000 multiplayer matches, I'm not I've ever seen this bug before.
