Tbf, regarding the retreating issue, I think lag was an issue. I had several instances where I was mashing the retreat button repeated and my units were just standing there.

But yeah, I was able to take full advantage of his overly conservative game plan and beat him pretty handily. THere were a few times if he had pushed more aggressively, I would have had more trouble but he gave me time to recover.
