The Causeway is always a great prime target for the howitzer to hit, throughout the course of its entire life. It's always a great tool to have in your bag, but on Semois it can and will often punch well above it's weight if you can confine the wehrmacht player to a tight area.
Semois and Angoville bring the balance of power between Wehr and USA to respectable levels; it's no longer as comfortable as Sturzdorf or Langres for the Wehrmacht player, but it is by no means an "unplayable map" for wehr. In fact, I would actually argue if you played Simply's FHQ strat, Semois becomes a great wehr map. By tying up loose ends on the flanks, you force the American player to fight centrally, straight to your advantage.
40+ minute game on Semois.
