This was my very first game vs CorpsE and we happened to meet very unexpectedly. I was testing my Walking Stukka rush (if you can call it that being tier 4) and decided immediately after seeing his name to change things up. I had to play serious, play hard and kick some butt. After previously seeing his ratio of 110+ wins with less than 10 losses, I knew it'd be an interesting game.
CorpsE went with airborne and used it extremely well. His airborne troopers were upgraded with recoiless rifles and he continually dropped AT guns in good places. Fortunately, I have been dealing with the rise of Airborne spammers again (haven't seen this many airborne since early July beta) and I knew that I had to not only spam my armor to counter but also mix in infantry. Upgraded infantry that is, with MP40s.
I primarily focused on the Blitz resource boost path since I figured I'd need the resources and I knew I'd pull in a fair amount of ammo all game. I boxed off most point, countered his pushes, placed MGs well most of the game, counter-sniped his sniper and overall just kept on pushing when things got rough.
I think this was definitely an excellent game. I would love a review here so have at it boys.

The damndest thing is - I knew what you were doing the whole time. A few things really tripped me up that game.
1) The loss of my sniper to counter sniper. ( I think this was a game turning moment, I rarley lose snipers ) 2) The mortar team not being able to take out a single HMG in my forward building. 3) Not building the oh-so important barracks. 4) Wasting cash on the Motor Pool when I should've made a Tank Depot and tried for M10 or Sherman. (with the supply drops I had 600+ fuel at one point)
I stand by the commander tree I used, not for paratroopers but the AT. Dropping AT guns anywhere is too good to ignore vs Tank mass.
Kudos to Mystic, looking forward to the next game.

I knew what you were doing too - very sneaky stuff haha.
1. I knew you'd use that sniper to pick off my MGs which would have definitely been superior to your other infantry. Because of that, I made sure to pair the MG and Sniper together and had the sniper just wait for your shot. I wasn't messing around with finding him.
2. Mortar was killing them slowly. I just used the MG to buy time even though you were killing it off.
3. Do you really think you would have had the resources to mix the rifles with rangers? It seemed to me you were keeping your manpower in play the entire time.
4. From my POV, I was assuming you wanted to use the AC to drop mines about or to spam out APCs / ATs with extra resources.
Thanks for the fun game. Your AT usage was very good, I was just expecting them. Also, nice strafing run (got some infantry!).
