I was trying to keep pressure with nebels the whole game, but he was gradually taking my territory.
What I had to do? T4? Tiger instead of resource blitz?

Losing the first 2 stuhs was crucial. You really needed them units to be alive and vetted to have a chance at standing up to the infantry. Wish i could wub this more than once. Nice game.

Comments:

1) T1 start is weaker than T2 start against brits. 5 or 6 pioneers and rushing T2 is almost always better.

2) You spend a lot of time building wire early game, which isn't that useful because: 1) he can make a bren carrier and crush it, and 2) you already went T1 and have a schwimm and MG42 to protect your cutoff, you don't need wire too. The only threat to schwimm/MG42 combo early game is bren carrier which crushes the wire anyway. You'd be better off using those pioneers to capture more of the map and spam mines.

3) Your T1 build is a bit suboptimal. You should add in a sniper earlier. Going sniper first from T1 is quite common nowadays, done by players like Salo and Freestyler. Build is: sniper, schwimm, MG, volk, T2.

4) As cool and fun as a T3 rush is, it's not very good against brits. Bren button and piats counter both Puma and Gwagen hard. StuG and StuH have decent front armour against Piats, but both get zoned hard by 17 pounder and become useless once a Firefly is out.

5) I'm not sure why you're spamming GWagons. Brit player goes Firefly, sure, but why 3? He has 3 piat squads which is the bigger issue. One GWagon would have been enough with some Pumas. I think teaching into T4 quicker for Panthers and going for Stuka instead of nebel + goliath spam is a better long term plan to fight brits late game.

6) As mentioned by pwnstick, your unit preservation at key moments isn't the best. You lost the first StuH instantly to button (which shouldn't happen ever since StuH outranges button) and also the GWagon supporting it.

Overall a fun strategy and game to watch. You lost because you made too many bad units (GWagons, Puma) and never teched T4 for Stukas, KCH, or Panthers. A very strong late game composition when playing Blitzkrieg is StuH + Panther + Stuka + KCH + Pak43. With manpower blitz you can make a lot of KCH and Pak and support it with the rest.

If you want, I have a game against this same guy where I do standard T2 rush and he simply crumbles. If you want to win more games that's the style to play.

It's maybe most mistake in CoH - addiction of replacing units. I need to fix it.

I underrated the power of piats.
