If you don't play to win then you are not a competitor. Period. Imagine Kobe Briant, Micheal Jordan, Tiger Woods (before his wife bashed his car window in with a golf club and his game went to hell), or any other true competitive person saying they would rather lose than win. It will never happen.

Yes, I just compared professional athletes to video game players. But wait, there is more. In my next post, we will analyze how some players have completely flip-flopped their views on acceptable unit/ability usage just to try to be more popular on GR, but ended up only looking childish, fickle, and ridiculous. There is a difference between loving winning and abusing the rules to win.
Your sports comparison is mostly inappropriate. Yes - people are competitive, games and sportsmen alike.
BUT A) Sports have referees and their rules are regulated and are not as vulnerable to ''OP abuse''. During a game you can't stop haphax, drophax, OP abuse, you have to put up with it.
B) The newest Anabolic steroids give an ''OP'' advantage and can be used until banned. Check sports history, there is plenty of abuse in sports too. But you will NEVER hear Kobe saying ''So yeah I took these new 'roids and it was awesome'' Because that's abuse and not a legitimate win. In fct - medals and trophies can be taken back if
