Phil, where did it go so wrong? I hope your dinner tasted well at least wink.gif

Long game but well deserved win, calling for your opponents to leave and mocking them only to lose the match in the end. such is karma. biggrin.gif

It went wrong with overpowered (bugged) staghound spam compounded by Axis being late with paks. This replay does more to demonstrate just how broken Brits are, particularly with the Commando/Royal Arty combo.

Try to work in trench spam, victor target, retreat to captain, counter-battery, and multiple sniping recon squads for the full effect next time. Overwatch on VP a good start though.

Thank you for the advice, although I wasn't the player that went arty doc or used stags, but I definitely neglected trench building, and I Should have built a new CC during the match.

As Commandos you should strive to destroy half your opponent's base using demolition charges and smoke concealment.

Also, in a 45 minute gamne, you should have established triangulation. You planted radios but never had three in operation simultaneously. Triangulation is massively powerful -- like a legal maphack. For some reason, your teammate didn't once ask you to establish triangulation...but did ask you to plant demolition charges.

Why are reconnaissance techniques so under-used and under-requested so often? At least one of the Wehr players had a cloaked sniper dedicated to recon.

you are not wrong at all, for me it was hard to get a triangulation that was good enough for me but some recon is always better than no recon, but yeah base raids is not something i naturally get to. A nice tool to keep in mind none the less smile.gif
