I'll have to watch this game again. After playing, I just think I should have gone for at least one pak to help me, instead of trying to buy more tanks or Pgre with shreks. And a mortar to deal with your god damn MG. And maybe I also should have chosen the doctrine with the longer vision on tanks when standing still.
Next time I'll hear that Soviets tanks are bad, I'll scream. The new SU85 is a real tank destroyer, and with his vision thing, it's really good. And the T34 ramming ability ofc...

Woooo, fantastic game, watched it from start to finish with no speed up.
Xelor's relentless map presence and superb preservation of his units really won him the early and mid-game and consequently the battle for VP's which led to Guru's inevitable loss.
Brilliant strafing run call-downs from Guru really helped him to hold onto the VP's when he needed them most. Sadly it wasn't enough to win the game. Some questionable decisions from Guru with his Tiger and Elefant tanks. SUPPORT THEM! Too many German players are criticizing the T34 for being 'imba' when in fact 80% of the time they think its suitable to leave 1 tank alone to defend or push an entire side of the map. Your tanks are far superior but they still need support. You sent 1 Tiger so far behind enemy lines into 2 SU-85's and 1 AT gun which was bound to end badly.
You also preserved your units very well Guru. I agree 1 or 2 PAK's would have really helped you with the T-34/SU-85 threat and taken the pressure off your tanks to deal all the AT damage. Alternatively some artillery to deal with the onslaught of infantry.
Great game from both sides, very entertaining to watch. Honestly i think this game really demonstrates how well balanced COH2 really is. It needs its tweaks but its still relatively well balanced.
