I haven't seen it and I'm pretty much a noob but these seem like odd combinations. I would think more of armies that back up each others weaknesses. Like the Tau have good firepower but they suck up close so i had a good experience with a computer Necron partner. It also helps that the necrons don't need to capture as much strategic points which i really needed. I'll soon check it out soon.
And the verdict is in...It was awesome, specially that bloodthirster.

IMHO, Chaos and Tau are the best partnership. Chaos' late tier game makes up for Tau's weak late tier game.
