SM vs Orks on Titan's Fall, I go for pretty much the same build as against Marteffyo but quickly discovers that this map is a bit too large for that. It turns into a 35 minute game of back and forth and the orky harass from hell. Lugnut uses excellent tactics and has me by the short hairs on several occassions midgame, he outecons me and makes my poor marines and scouts run all over the map trying to keep him from ruining my economy entirely.

Don't expect any fastteching in this game, we both went for heavy tier 1/2 fight builds at the expence of teching. We do eventually end up in tier 3 and Lugnut even manages to reach tier 4 towards the end.

wtf wtf wtf WTF!!!!!! holy sh*t santiago... you did a job and a half there.... even with an econ of around 78/38 compared to lugnuts 138/42... geeez... those terminators SAVED YOUR ASS!!!!! seriously wow... they really held their own...

hmmm... i think there was at least 1 point in the game where if lugnut pushed hard enough, it wouldve been gg for u... as so clearly pointed out by the ppl speccing tho i hav to disagree with their comments that it would be absurd if you won... you played agressively despite barely any troops... that made lugnut think you had more troops than you really had... which bought you enough time to get the termies and the preds which pushed you to a bloody good victory! freakin hell gg WP santiago! i swear that was magnificent sm play if ever ive seen it.. despite your mid-game (wtf moment) where you kinda screwed up.... you recovered well.... and i have a firm belief that the only way to separate the good from the best is by seeing what happens when things go wrong... and you definitely showed the best sm play ive ever seen for a long time!! you him into WTF!? land..

It has always been a pleasure watching your replay, but this one is TRULY MAGNIFICENT . It's very surprising for me that u could come back after practically losing half ur army in the mid game PLUS much much weaker eco than ur opponent. To that account, playing against a very good Ork player means u'll be deeply outnumbered afterwards, yet u've managed to get those predators out and hit him back hard since then.

It confuses me that no RR has reviewed or at least want to review this replay yet. If I could vote for this replay, it's definitely worthy of a GOLD Replay. GJ VWP

P.S: Very good use of Orbital bombardment in mid game, that has wiped out lots of his army, and crucial to your victory.

Thanks, when I saw his gitz coming in behind me it was too late to pull back chappy + tac squad which was in harassing his point, so I decided to stay with FC + other squad and use OB to get out with those while I tried to do as much harm as possible with chappy/tac and then get chappy out, should probably have tried to pull the other tac squad out with the chappy as well though, made a bad snap decision >:3

i rarely see lp3's, but are they really worth it???? Cuz i think you could have spent the req on something else, but whatever works.

SM and Chaos are if there is going to be heavy fighting around it IMO as they get a nice hp boost and great damage/range in addition to boosting your econ. Also against ork it can be pretty good because of the free slugga masses that try to harrass you. LP3>sluggas. I wouldnt get them in most cases but if you have a little extra req and you are struggling to hold a point then go for it. Only for SM and chaos though, LP3s suck for everyone else.

LP3s is worth it at times, especially since he was constantly harassing me back and forth on the map. I should have placed a turret at that outer point to secure it from bustahs though, and maybe a minefield to stop BM/nobs bashing That way I could have gone with my army to take down buildings and if he had gone to counterharassed he would have taken greater losses then me and taken longer to take down the point. But that didn't happen since I was too busy running around rebuilding LPs and running screaming from point to point trying to chase him off xD
