so i got back from hawaii and wouldnt you know it, theres a patch out! not only that but compeador is actually playing again. so me and him get some 1v1s in, hes a biy out of practice, and we both do a fair share of whining about this and that, but we ended up with some pretty decent games.
Compeador is back and testing the 1.2 Eldar against the Imperial Guard. Lots of fighting that shifts back and forth through out the match. Great replay, replay of the week contender.
Imperial Guard/[CiC]DAS_CAPN/Team1
Definitely had some trouble dealing with Rangers and Dark Reapers. But kept yourself in the game and gained the advantage in later tiers.
Consider turrets to protect outside points from rangers. Eldar lack a unit that does good building damage in tier 1.
Waited to tier 3 to get priest, not sure if this is part of some tactic but they are very good.
No heavy weapons until tier 3.
Eldar/Compeador/Team2
Have some rust to shake off, micro seems good but slow on getting enough power, which cause you to fall behind in tech. Nice play overall.
Need get some generators up quicker.
Pay attention to recourses.
Consider using harlequins, if they can get off their kiss of death, it destroys guardsmen squads.
