The most i play the game this way the most obvious it become that it was the original design before some creative genious had the great idea of puting doctrines and power core mode into the game. The game simply WORKS playing without both.
Kamikaze man had the Angry marines, always angry, lead by Kill team, gabriel and assault terminators.
Myself had the Fire Angels Chapter, lead by Chapter Master Gabriel Angelos of the Blood Ravens, terminators, and the queen solaria herself!
I got just late game elites to see if without the cheese doctrines it is possible to play with it. And yes, it is.
The more i play TRUE DOW the more i hate PC mode and doctrines.
Some people said the game takes too long in this way, but truth been told it is possible to end the game really fast, i just have no reason to post fast games.
Edit: Even the recall ability makes way more sense in this mode.
Edit 2, the mission: And to further up my point, in the campaign doctrines don't even exist, right?
