Hi, its a pretty good game, one hour long vs my arch enemy Auni, So yes, i am still putting it here to complain. Seriously, this fleet of fungus super speed from waaaagh banner is not cool, not cool at all.

Imo, change the speed bonus for Damage Reduction, but as it is now Orks are just another hit and run army, instead give SOME damage reduction to the ork army instead of this INSANE SPEED so we can still decide the game fighting and not hiting and running.

But gg.

Anyone agree that Space Marine heavy bolter "devastators" aren't nearly effective enough at their sustained fire role? In II and even I, they were a unit whose fire arc was to be feared (kind of like how lootas are now). Now it seems they can always just be run right up to and meleed with no problem at all. Shouldn't their fire have more of a slow/suppress effect like in II and definitely more damage output?

They are very effective. If you got 1 its not very effective true, but if you got a couple more covering each other and a whole area and not blobbing on one spot then it can be pretty devastating for anything that comes near to them.

Also the damage upgrades are really usefull for devastators and the slow upgrade is pretty good too. Im mostly getting it on t1 now after i got the health upgrade, then i go for the damage upgrade or for t2 first. Without any upgrades devastators are not very frightening especially if you got only 1, but if you got a couple more and also upgrades then its pretty devastating.
